PROJECT SUMMARY

An-Co delivered all major scaffolding works across the Eastern Tunnelling Package, including critical site access solutions into the east and west shafts at the Hunter Street Station site. Over 450 tonnes of scaffolding were installed across the project, with a workforce of more than 25 scaffolders deployed throughout.

OVERVIEW

A key feature of the delivery was the implementation of rolling scaffolding systems, which reduced labour requirements and programme time by minimising repeated stripping and rebuilding of scaffold structures. The project required close coordination with multiple contractors to maintain safe and uninterrupted operations across all work fronts.

OUTCOME

An-Co's rolling scaffold approach improved overall site efficiency while maintaining safe access throughout. The project demonstrated An-Co's capacity to manage high-volume access requirements on major infrastructure, supporting ongoing tunnelling and construction activities at one of Sydney's most complex underground sites.
